Bring your gear. Or just bring your ears.
First and foremost, we are a friendly, welcoming bunch of people who love hardware: synthesizers, pedals, and the kind of music gear you plug in and put your hands on. A free monthly workshop in Toronto, with demos, performances, and a lot of knowledge passed hand to hand. You don't need to own any gear, or know the first thing about it. Just show up curious.

A chill afternoon of cool sound and music as diverse as Toronto itself.
The heart of it is the people. A typical afternoon runs through demonstrations across a wide range of styles, performances from new and seasoned members, open discussion, and a lot of techniques shared between folks who just like figuring this stuff out together. Anyone who'd like to play something is warmly encouraged to, polished or not, and anyone who'd rather just listen is every bit as welcome. Accomplished knob-twiddler, aspiring one, or simply curious: everyone's welcome, and it's always free.
It's fun and semi-formal, with questions and jams encouraged throughout. Bring a synth to show, lead a discussion, or make a presentation, and makers and vendors are welcome to share something too. The afternoon runs 1 to 5 PM, with setup from 1 to 2 for anyone bringing gear.
Things we've been making, mending, and digging up.

Never miss a workshop
We'll send a short note before each workshop, and otherwise only the occasional message when something genuinely matters.
